At KAT SICA INTERIORS, we had the pleasure of transforming a beautiful seaside villa into a tranquil retreat for the Alvarez family. Located along the sun-kissed coast of Valencia, Spain, this project involved supplying bespoke furniture and interior decor that harmonized with the villa’s breathtaking ocean views and relaxed coastal vibe. Completed in June 2023, the Coastal Serenity Villa is now a haven of comfort and elegance for the Alvarez family and their guests.

Design Philosophy: Coastal Luxury

For this project, we embraced a coastal luxury aesthetic, blending soft, neutral tones with natural materials and textures. The goal was to create a space that felt light, airy, and connected to the sea, while still offering the sophistication and comfort befitting a high-end residence.

Design in Details

The living area features a custom-made sectional sofa in a durable, sand-colored fabric, paired with a driftwood coffee table and woven jute rugs that echo the textures of the beach. Large sliding glass doors open to a terrace, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. In the dining room, a reclaimed wood table is surrounded by linen-upholstered chairs, creating a relaxed yet elegant setting for family meals.

The bedrooms are serene sanctuaries, with whitewashed wooden beds, sheer curtains that flutter in the sea breeze, and artwork inspired by the ocean. Throughout the villa, we incorporated accents like seashell decor, ceramic table lamps, and rattan lighting fixtures to enhance the coastal theme.
